What is Confirmation?
Youth in grades 7-and-up are invited to participate in our weekly classes. Brenda Kaszer and Pastor Clagg lead our teaching dialog on Martin Luther's Small Catechism and Holy Scripture. Our Confirmands participate in a two year program and are given the opportunity to celebrate their love for The Lord on Pentecost Sunday.
In addition, participants have the opportunity to become Acolytes, which are selected each Sunday during Confirmation class. Acolytes are responsible for carrying the light into worship. Our Acolytes are worship leaders throughout the worship service and Holy Communion.
When:
Classes are held from 9:30-10:30 am Sunday mornings.
